looks so dark, yet so noble. Nice glint on that visor. What's he looking at? and there's sure alot of crackso n that helmet, not that I'm surprised or anything. I'd call him a bad boy 'cept that he looks good in this. Only 40 mins? that's incredible!!! and nice shading. looks so smooth and yet the helmet and everything looks just rough enough to tell that it's used and really used

Thanks, I darkened the original slightly in PS as you can only seem to get so dark with the pencils I was using - despite the soft quality. Always liked this guy as I said before, have sketched him (and Jango) a couple of times in the past but this brings it up to date for me And thank you kindly for the fave!
This is a completely different drawing than you had going before. Are you still doing the older one, or is this the one you decided on?
I do like this one a lot. The shading was done very well. I like the detail on the helmet and the straight pencil marks throughout the work. Very cool. Pretty dark too. You did Fett justice.

Yep that's right, though I am still working on that other one, I just had an itch for sketching a portrait style one of him, plus I had not worked with graphite shading for a while.
The other one will be up as soon as I get a few hours to colour.
Thanks very much!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
