Elan and Vergereby ~blue-but-beautiful

"Your tears refresh, my pet" - Elan to Vergere.

One of my longer WIP's, the priestess Elan, and her familiar, the mysterious Vergere. Both from the New Jedi Order book series.

Rendered in Painter and Photoshop.

Yes, I have done a quick portrait in profile of Vergere, it's wayyy back in my gallery somewhere. I would like to redo it however, in digital medium next time. At present I am working on a large piece for the guys and girls over at theforce.net, but it would be nice to revisit Vergere, watch this space!

The hair and cloth flow looks really soft! Lovely!
Like the foreshortening too, that's a bloody brave pose to draw.

Thanks, this is still one of my fave pieces I did, using the old version of painter. Painter X is superb, but lacks some of the old brushes I really loved

Especially the ones that helped me in creating the soft fabric and feathers!
