A small update from me that will be moved to scraps once I am able to upload the finished piece. My connection is still not working at home so I thought i'd post this and a few other bits in the meanwhile to prove i'm not dead ;)

So yes, Onimi! The REAL Supreme Overlord of the Yuuzhan Vong and a *gasp* shamed one! I have also posted a WIP of this piece in my scraps so you can see some of the colouring that's been going on. Enjoy :D

Interesting depiction of how Omini looks. I didn't picture him like this at all, but I love seeing what people make of him. He's an interesting character, definitely overlooked.

Thanks, I always saw him a bit like gollum from LOTR as I said before, just a lot taller and more evil rather than simply demented. His character was just another Yuuzhan Vong who got somewhat overlooked again :(

Yeah, amen to that last sentence. Such an interesting species, yet I still think they weren't described/delved into enough. Especially since they've pretty much put them aside in the LOTF series. Although in the Legacy comics, there's a couple of issues about them, which is cool.

Even Legacy didn't go into too much detail, I think they could possibly spawn at least a novel of their own, as has been done with other species. But sadly I don't think that would be recieved well after all the negativity toward NJO in general :p facists

I don't think we really got to see enough of Onimi and his manipulations, the scene at the end of Destiny's way was so well done and sinister, I expected to read more about his puppeteering of Shimrra. Couldn't give too much away until the end though. Hey, at least he got a better death than Tsavong Lah though....god I hate Jaina...and Jacen too :p Especially his selfishness in the current story arcs, it's his beard I tell you...it's making him evil!
