I have wanted to re-sketch this guy since the first pic I did of him was my original template for how I imagined Yuuzhan Vong to look.
I tried incorporating a mixture of a couple of styles, new and old, into this piece. Still unfinished as of yet and I wanted to say a HUGE thank you to  for her wonderful tute on how to sketch hair. It's always been a bit of a stickler for me, and I know this isn't the best example ( I imagined his hair to be quite straw-like) but there is one strand or two in there I thought worked out nicely  Edit: I messed about with this pic a bit more this morning so i've extended his forehead a bit more, as per  suggestion ( thankyou!). I've also added some more hair to the back of his head and cleaned this up in PS. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
