The bones of poor Elegos A'kla, Caamasi senator and friend to the Jedi, as stated in the New Jedi Order book: Dark Tide - Ruin.

I am working on a digital version of this, but thought it a shame to leave the line art as it was in my sketchbook. So I decided to brush up on some old skills instead.

Watercolour, brown and black indian ink with watercolour pencil to highlight.

All things SW are the property of Yun-Lucas.

I like the fact that you decided to go with the watercolour and ink with this. It makes it a grittier piece, which matches the image. Good job, once again. :thumbsup:

Wow! It looks wonderful, but it also makes me very sad. I hated that scene.
But great use of colors and I agree with Scott, lol to Yun-Lucas! :D

The coils around the bones are the creepy part. Didn't expect them to have skulls shaped that way...

Yeah, I added those coils last, seemed to add a bit of depth to the picture as well as the texture I wanted to achieve. The skull shape comes from having seen a picture of a caamasi in a comic book, where he looked a fruit bat minus the wings. So I looked up a fruit bat skull.

Thank you :) I know what you mean about it being a sad scene too. It was a bit of a conflicting one for me, I loved the character of Shedao Shai, but I also liked Elegos too, so when that happened it was like..."ooh nice one...but NOOOOOOOO!" :rofl: Still, he did seem genuinely disappointed that he'd had to kill Elegos.
