While dragonfruit tastes delicious, it smells like how I imagine the inside of a maw luur to smell. In short, it smells worse than you could possibly imagine, especially when it's welded onto the sole of a boot that's just walked 2 miles in really icy - muddy weather.
I had hoped that the combination of the frozen ground followed by the mud would get rid of the excess fruit, but I was wrong. Scraping my boot against a hard surface, while clearing the bulk of the gooey mess, did not get into the deep tread of the sole.
So now I am at work, with one very stinky boot *insert unamused expression here* and have been resorting to using such things as solvent cleaner - industrial antibacterial wash (with odor-killer!) in order to take away the stench. After all, I don't want people thinking that is what I smell like!
In more arty related news, I have been absent from this site lately, but I have good reason, I was commissioned to create a piece for someone...previews of that will follow in a later edit, so keep a look out for those.
I leave you with this amusing screen capture of my inbox at work...it was too good not to post. [link]
